Dr. David Wurzer

Dr. David Wurzer is a Certified Golf Coach and PGA Master Professional at Rancho Carlsbad Golf Club. He is a Core Adjunct Faculty at National University. Previously he was Associate Dean at National University Golf Academy. David is Titleist Performance Institute Golf Level 3, Junior Level 3, Golf Mechanics Level 3; K-Vest Certified Level 1; BodiTrak Certified Golf Ground Mechanics; Blast Putt Level 1 Certified; Opti Certified Professional; GolfPsych Mental Game Instructor and US Kids Certified Junior Instructor. Some of the technology used for instruction include V1 High Speed Video, K-Vest 3D, BodiTrak Vector, Blast Motion Sensor, Opti Brain Performance Optimizer, and GolfPsych Mind Meter. David has provided instructional segments to USA Today, The Golf Channel, National University Golf Academy, YouTube and the Southern California Golf Show. David is an exceptional student, teacher and coach of the great game of golf.
Dr. Wurzer has a B.S and M.A. from Northern Michigan University, has earned a Ph.D. from the University of Utah, and completed Post Doctoral Study at The Ohio State University. He is a Core Adjunct Faculty at National University. Previously he was Associate Dean at National University Golf Academy He is Professor Emeritus, Department of Kinesiology, California State University, Long Beach. Education credentials include Junior College Physical Education & Health and CSU Los Angeles Applied Behavior Analysis. His specialties include sport pedagogy (science and art of coaching), sport psychology (mental training) and golf educator.
